Toyota AE86: You Know The Name But Do You Know The Car?

It’s known as the AE86, the Trueno, the eight-six, but one thing is certain: There is no car more iconic in anime and in drifting than the Toyota Corolla AE86. The actual Drift King in Japan drove one, it’s the reason many of us got into drifting, and today we get to go Bumper 2 Bumper on one!

Fun Fact, outside of japan Ireland has the one of most amounts of AE86's/twincams and it had nothing to do with inital D, we just really loved them from release, cheap, rwd, can do rings, fairly common to see

It's weird how despite all the modifications Takumi and Bunta put on the AE86 and the whole Inertia Drift technique, the best mod for not spilling the tofu would be to simply move the tofu tray to the middle of the car.

I've seen a couple videos of this car, showcasing that it can get around the Nurburgring in under nine minutes. For what is essentially a 35 year-old Toyota Corolla, that is impressive.
