Kunwu has shot up my list of favorite knife companies over the last year or so.

According to Larrin Thomas, they both have the same edge retention. Elmax is 4 on toughness, 5.5 on edge retention, and 8 on corrosion resistance. Vanax is 5, 5.5, and 10 to elmaxs 4, 5.5, and 8.

Got the orange peel satin one since I have the reverse tux frame lock. I love it ! Did not receive the extra springs but emailed Kunwu and they are shipping them to me. Excellent customer service ive had from Kunwu on multiple occasions. Can't wait for a new model from them 🎉

I have both the stonewashed frame lock and the blue gmascus Padre-X. Love them both. Got the g10 one so it would be a little lighter than my frame lock for EDC.

I just got this very model in the mail yesterday! Still highly considering pulling the trigger on the Vanax DLC frame lock.

I should say here that I’ve already had it apart and back together to clean out excessive oil. Let me tell you that this crossbar lock is THE easiest crossbar locking knife I’ve ever disassembled/reassembled. The bar actually comes apart into different pieces that make the whole process very simple.

I love my Padre framelock but I'm not a big fan of cross bar locks. A framelock version of the Pulsar XL would be sweet.
