Thanks for this. I can see where your stress comes from after using it. To do a three minute clip with scrolling titles involved at least ten crashes of Shotcut for me. Perhaps another piece of advice here is to build short clips with the feature, rather than trying to bring it into larger projects.

LOL! I love Shotcut, but for scrolling text I just open up my ancient Microsoft Movie Maker, take 30 seconds to make the clip, save it and drag it into Shotcut. Hard to believe Shotcut makes something so common so difficult.

I think they changed it because i don't have the text html option on mine, just text simple and text rich and i can't figure out what to do with those

It would have been nice if you show your selection of view to even display the video track as I've opened a video yet it has no place to drag from color towards?
