How to Make Crawling Text Animation in Premiere Pro 2023 | EP 50

Premiere Pro 2023 has an automated rolling text animation option but the automated crawling text animation is absent there. Previously that option was available on the legacy title panel in Premiere Pro, but in Premiere, Pro 2023 Adobe has decided to ditch the legacy title option. I hope they will add a crawling text option in the essential graphics panel soon. For now, let's learn how we can make crawling text in Premiere Pro manually using keyframe animation.

It's unbelievable you used to be able to do this with the legacy title tool by clicking one button. This is also something you can do in OBS by clicking one button. Good job adobe!

It is glitchy as hell even with this amazing tutorial. My text always gets cut off. I had to research for hours to find out that it is really a glitch. What kind of incompetent people are working at Adobe? This is such a standard thing to do and they ditched it. You however, are a hero!

Hi, your method is useful for a few sentences, but if you have to write credits with 3568 characters, doing it by hand becomes long. I edit several TV programs a week, making credits this way is long. I reported the problem in the Adobe community and they responded like this: "We never added scanning for Essential graphics because we concluded that it was a very rarely used feature. But I'm curious to know how many votes it will get!" If many of us complain, maybe we can get the crawl included in the essential graphics. Hello and good work
