I'm 20 and Gen Z, so many of us are on fire for the Lord. God Bless and have mercy.

I find more people are either fully atheists or starting to find faith and becoming VERY theologically knowledgeable (compared to your average Joe) The generation of extremes

As a 24 Y/O I cannot wait for my chance to be baptized into the Orthodox Church, being in the military I haven't been able to (due to where I'm stationed) God willing in the next 4 years ill finally be able to join the one true Church.

I see a lot of my Gen Z peers coming to orthodoxy!

I'm an early adaptor in Atheism being 35, not GenZ... but have consistently watched this channel for a few months now and appreciate a new perspective. Commenting before I watch, might edit. I'm not here to 'bash religion' b/c im an atheist, I do appreciate any replies.
I do see a Lot of benifit to religion especially Catholics i think, but can not call myself religious at all if I honestly do not believe in any god at all. sorry if sounds offensive, just trying to be honest. Have a nice day everyone.

Thank you Father. You are fighting the true fight. Nothing else matters as much as God whatever meaningless things they push us to believe.

I was born in 1967 too! It was great being a kid in the 1970’s. I was also an alter boy, and in love with Jesus and Mary. ❤

May we return to the lord and speak up against the degenerate culture.
I`m from Germany. It got us bad. But we must push back

perhaps there's a rise of athiesm, but i have seen a rise in christianity among this generation. you either numb yourself to the evils or the world or you seek truth and end up at the feet of the Lord

I disagree even based on statistics, I believe that gen z isn’t atheist they are VERY polarized, they’re finding the faith or on fire for the lord and Christ or are very very pushed away

The PURPOSE of life to be become Christ-like.
The most IMPORTANT thing in life is to love and be loved.

Honestly, because nobody has told anyone the truth of the faith in a long time. God is not relative, and you need the sacraments to go to Heaven. It’s not just ‘I feel’ and you can do whatever.

these are indeed significant observations. We are witnessing substantial changes in society, and it's crucial to recognize how these shifts affect young people and their desire for faith and spirituality. Reevaluating traditional values can lead to a renewed interest in religion and the practice of faith.

I’m just now leaving Protestantism, and I can say I think for sure Protestant understandings of Christianity are probably a big contribution to atheism. A lot of their views make no sense and are contradictory.

The great question I see among my generation is trad cath or orthodox, though there are pagans and atheists as well they are respectively larpers and one penny short of a pint.

Is our abandonment of moral norms really all that different from what happened in France in the 18th century before the Reign of Terror? Or in Russia before the Revolution?

I await nothing. I have nothing. I am nothing. I am sick of it all. This wretched and sinful world, my wretched sinful existence. All of it. I am maddened with the endless pain. I fall, and fall, and fall, and there is no bottom to this well. I can not fathom the wickedness of modern man, I can not fathom the timeless evil which punishes those who fall, and breaks their bones when they plea for the affection of those who witness their fall. A wicked & selfish world, content at the silence of the downtrodden if it means cheap happiness. It sickens me.

But I need no others. I have always survived alone. I have always taught myself, I have always mentored myself. I have done everything alone unto the present age of twenty-four. I look at myself, a quarter ways into my life, and I am still fighting alone. I will die alone. Such a long night lies ahead, as I tread dreadfully into this bleak blackness. I question why I keep going. It seems that no matter where I go I remain alone, a phantom, praying to God ceaselessly for its end. It is too dark, others can not see me, and I can not see them.

Curse this worldly sinfulness, curse my sinfulness. I am calamity, and a cosmic rubric of pain. With all my being, with all my soul I cry out in unfathomable pain. I pray and I pray, I vanquish the waves of torment, yet like the sea they are endless. I live only to dwell on the edge of a terrible, lone drowning. My faith betrays me, it will only ever prolong my suffering. My lone faith is all I have, between madness and order.

Father is right… there is much hope in the global south. In my tradition (anglicanism) global south bishops who remain faithful to the gospel have been sending missionaries to the US since the early 2000s… they created a faithful Anglican province that is growing like wildfire. There are still parishes and dioceses in the mainline church that remain faithful, too. Might be a sign to come for work in other protestant denominations that are falling in the West but strong in Africa and Asia. We have to start treating this country like mission territory, because it is. I welcome the growth of orthodoxy and traditional catholicism
