In this video, I film the entire climb up to the top of the Duomo in Florence, Italy. I wanted people to be able to see how long it takes to get to the top and also what the steps look like. There are a few dark moments because the lighting in the lower stairwell was not that great. However, you do see most of the climb. I reach the top halfway through the video and the view is amazing. The cathedral was begun at the end of the 13th century by Arnolfo di Cambio and the dome was added in the 15th century and designed by Filippo Brunelleschi. This dome is also known as Brunelleschi's Cupola.
