Thank you so very much for this video.
It’s transformed my life.
I’m 73 and, after living for 40y in a single storey home, recently moved 300+ miles away to a new 2 storey home to be close to kids/grandkids. Of course I messed my knee up. Exercises from my Physio helped by strengthening knee/hip but I realised that I was going up the stairs with the weight on the ball of my foot. So your way of going up stairs by moving weight towards the heel has taken away pain and knee joint ’cracking’. It’s amazingly effective. Thanks again. Wonderful. 👍

Love this channel! I've been exercising almost every day since age 12 and adjusting my focus throughout the decades with mix of aerobic/weight training/stretch. Teens were pom pom team & random whatever active HS stuff, 20's mostly aerobics, 30's mostly muscle weight training & functional aerobics, 40's mostly aerobics & added weight stretches, 50's mostly added weight aerobics, 60's whatever the heck I feel like doing. I no longer have an employer fitness specialist to consult so this channel is gold for me 🥰

I just went outside on my porch steps to practice what you said. It felt great. I had surgery on my knee in 2021. I will continue to use your instructions. Thanks so much.

I really need this, they did not teach this in my recovery therapy. I'll most definitely be trying this immediately, beginning now.
Thanks Coach Tyler

I had hip replacement in March 2023 and this exercise is part of my therapy. Going downstairs isn't a problem for me but going up I'm still working on. This exercise is not just for knee pain ppl. I'll share this video to a friend who has knee pain and sounds like a dying animal when she gets up from a sitting position or going upstairs 😁👍🏾.

Putting your legs up against a wall for 20 minutes a day helps all sorts of ailments, water retention, arthritis and just about everyone can do it. If you can't get on the floor do it on your bed using your headboard.

Hell Tyler! Your exercises really make me doing exercises! I don’t like going to the gym so this home training is just great!
Thanks very much, you are a joy to look at!!👍

It's been a few months since I'm using your technique and my knee modestly reminded me about itself once only. So I thought I ought to say thank you 😃

Yes this is so useful, esp moving at the hip and putting more weight on the heel. Thank you.

I went hiking up Machu Picchu mountain and while going up I suddenly started to feel a very sharp pain in my left knee. I have never had knee pain before, but walking up this mountain for over an hour seemed to have put a lot of stress on my knee. When I reached the top my knee was in complete agony and walking around Machu Picchu was an painful experience rather than an enjoyable one because I had to sit every 10 mins.
After watching this video, I remember I was walking up just like how I shouldn't go up. Using my knees to do all the climbing.
