Siemens TIA Portal Tutorial (Configuring your S7-1200 PLC)

This video will walk you through how to set up Ethernet communication with a Siemens S7 1200 PLC using TIA Portal V14, and we'll set up a simple 3 Wire control PLC program and download it to the S7 1200 PLC.

To connect two masters (laptop & s7-1200 cpu) directly, you would require a crossover Ethernet cable.
