Sylvester Stallone broke the law, he removed his helmet. Dredd never takes his helmet off and Karl Urban done that role justice.

*"Street Fighter"* would turn out to be the great Raul Julia's last film. A sad loss to this day. *RIP*

Are we going to skip over blade Trinity? Where Wesley Snipes almost got into a fistfight with the director and only spoke to him using post-it notes and production assistants?

Honorable mention: Alan Rickman, who knew how bad "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves" was going to be and turned in a "F-it!"performance that was the best thing in the movie...

FYI, Michael Caine has always had a policy of never turning down work if he can help it. Work wasn't consistent when he was younger, so he always took what he could later.

Also Jaws IV stopped him from picking up his Oscar for Hannah and Her Sisters.

Given the clip shown in the intro, I'm extremely surprised "Island of Dr. Moreau" isn't on this list. According to star David Thewlis (who was cast when the original lead quit the project), the first thing his co-star, Val Kilmer, said when he arrived was, "Run, David, " while Marlon Brando said, "Go home, David. This is not a good film to work on. It's cursed." Brando described working on the film as, "trying to complete a crossword puzzle while falling down an elevator shaft."

George Clooney was in his first movie when he played one of the lead roles in the comedy-horror film Return of the Killer Tomatoes (1988) 6 years before he was ER.

It's safe to say Ryan Reynolds regrets doing Green Lantern, maybe not from day one but he definitely does now

Sir Michael Caine having to “take any role that comes his way” feels odd now what a legend

Batman and Robin did give us a great movie soundtrack to listen to while playing Doom3, so there's that.

Worst thing about Van Damme's Street Fighter movie is the fact that it was the last movie ever made by Raul Julia.

I didn't think the Hellboy remake was bad. David Harbour wasn't terrible and the rest of the cast was pretty good. The story was bad and a little choppy, they tried to do too many things. Visuals were alright. This is a case where I don't blame the actors because they were alright. It was the writing and director that is to blame.
Street Fighter was a kind of bad movie but Raul Julia really brought it up to cult classic level. You don't watch it for the 'story' you watch it for Raul Julia and his 'scene-chewing'. It will forever be a favorite.
I didn't like Stallone as Dredd because he took off the helmet. Never take off the helmet of icons that wear them exclusively. Dredd and Master Chief are ones that you never take off the helmet. Shredder, Vader, and the Mandalorian are ones you can take it off for drama but 99% of the time they should be wearing them.
I think Clooney was a better Bruce Wayne than Batman, I consider them different characters. Clooney hit the right spot of charming and suave that I feel Bruce Wayne would put on in public. He was not a good pick for Batman though. I also thought Kilmer was a good Bruce Wayne but in a different way. I personally like Batman and Robin but not everyone like campy movies like that.

Stallone knew Dredd was doomed because he doomed it.

Hellboy - Who was this made for? Because it certainly wasn't made for the fans, who wanted a third movie with Perlman and del Toro. This is a blatant example of the stupidity of studio executives and their belief that all movies are interchangeable. I guaranteed you, double-damn GUARANTEE you, that not a single executive at the studio has the slightest clue why this movie failed.

Alien Resurrection - With some caveats, I actually like the first half of this movie. Right up until the "newborn" is introduced, then the movie went to crap for me.

Robocop, street fighter, highlander, judge dread... holy hell, I saw all of these when they went to vhs... and i was 12 for the most recent of these. I'm starting to think my dad didn't realize that "awesome" action movies weren't always appropriate for 10 year old boys.
That being said, I've lost track of how many time's I rewatched Highlander 2 as a pre-teen. It was a high quality movie when you are that age!

Clooney did it for the money. He said he spoke with his accountant who said his take home after taxes and agent fees, etc., could be put away comfortably to do movies he wanted to do, i.e. Out of Sight.

Dolph Lundgren was perfectly cast as He-Man, but it had a sh!t script, tiny budget, and production hell. Interesting to see this
re-make. Only sh!t movies should be re-made into good ones.

I was about to say that about Street Fighter, if Ellie didn’t. VanDamm was definitely coked up during that movie…….but the best part of f Street Fighter is still Raul Julia’s Bison! That immaculate line deliver of the icon line. Super Sweet
