this is so accurate. other people portray it as "or everyone will die in your family", but rather a deep, lingering pressuring thought that's so uncomfortable it won't go away

As someone with ocd, I fully relate to this. Its like someone else Is in your head bossing you around and you can't argue with it.

Finally someone who doesn't mix up OCD with "unsatisfied"!

I probably don’t have OCD but I can’t even explain how relatable this is. Having to check on others randomly to make sure they’re ok, my brain randomly telling me to do random things or I’ll get some terrible consequence, which I believe and do “just in case” and other symptoms.

I've had ocd since the past 4 years and the voices inside my head just don't stop
The voice tells me to do stuff so that nothing bad happens
It's really hard to work with it daily
People really don't understand how difficult it is.
As a student I constantly keep writing then cutting and rewriting several words a dozen times.

The awareness is really needed.
Thank you for the video.

As a person with OCD, its really annoying, but i live with it so i cant really do anything. I love how you portrait the OCD by being constantly overthink and not just an over perfectionist.

As someone with ocd who has been told "you don't keep your room clean so you don't have ocd." I love this video so much, thank you for being the few people who actually do their research

i swear this is so accurate whenever my brain tells me to do something, i'm hesitant yet end up doing the most stupid things.

As someone with severe OCD I don’t keep my room as clean but I do move stuff twice to keep things even, I open the door 4 times to make things even, but you know what is is even..me and you and everyone else. We’re all even no ones different in a perfect way we just do different things that make us unique, I know OCD can be a struggle but it helps us in a way to keep our minds straight.

Its not only because we’re worried about getting sick, it’s because it makes our anxiety better.
It’s like an addiction to washing your hands.
It feels like everything bad you think will come true and it feels so bad.
Thank you for spreading awareness of my mental illness.

I am so grateful you made this video, thanks for saying that everyone with OCD isn't obsessed with cleaning because as someone with OCD my thoughts are more towards do this or something bad happens, I appreciate this.
