They could change it so that the armor you respawn with is determined by how far in the game you are.. Like ressing someone early mid-game gives blue. Mid-late purple and last circles red.

It doesn’t work with red shields only purple and they sorta fixed it because you can no longer get it if u die from falling off map but if you die from spider, prowler, or ring it will work

Devs have already taken note and are coming up with something to fix this. They tweeted about it earlier today or last night. IMO, just make it work in either later rounds, or have it scale with rounds. If you die before and during circle 1 closing, you can respawn with up to blues, 2nd circle and closing up to purples, and third up to reds. If you die with reds in first ring or closing first ring, you can only get up to blues for free when you respawn. It's not cheating, it's doing something the game allows you to do, but it's for sure extra cringe if you're actively doing this in ranked.

They should just make it in a way that if you go out of bounds you dont get the armor when you are respawned.

I came back to this game recently because they finally added cross-progression, and seeing it state makes me sad, the same buggy shitty game I used to play back in 2020 until season 5
