As someone who doesn't have as much to play ranked due to work, I really appreciate not having to worry about demotions. Any RP loss feels a lot worse when I get 2 - 3 hours a day to play

I personally don’t want ranked demotion because once I reach the rank I want I just wouldn’t play ranked for the rest of the split and that would probably be the same as everyone else and towards the end of the split no one will be playing ranked

Diamond player - Love the new system. In my opinion supporting your team with your abilities should also be rewarded. This helps A LOT with teamplay and strategic play. I cherished the way they were going with BH and Crypto until they stopped and left Crypto alone in that thing. I'm a 5k kills Lifeline main myself and I've always played very aggressively (not the best thing, trying to change), a thing that I don't do in other games when I play supporting roles and that's because of the way the game works here. Just for a fun thought experiment compare Lifeline and Caustic: One has a kit fully revolving around saving the team and doing nothing to the opponent team and the other is an assist-magnet, dealing damage everywhere just by literally not-so-thin air.

As for deranking... They added that to Arenas (Platinum player) and I stopped playing it almost immediately. The ranking system there is already terrible, deranking made it unbearable. I remember playing for 2-3 hours at gold level, getting wins 3/4 of the time and I barely had gotten 100 points in total. After those 2-3 hours the game felt SO repetitive that no amount of map rotation could save it.

guys you all have to hit Respawn and EA in their money to have changes made and solve these issues. They are saving so much money by not investing enough in better anti-cheats and not hiring more banhammers.

Yes they finally did it. They vaulted the Rampage and the Sentinel. I noticed it when i wanted to buy the sentinel in arenas and didnt see it or the rampage.

One of the worst issues back there when you used to play diamond 3 in predator lobbies was that when i used to grind ranked, it was horrible. As example of the old system, diamond iv used to play with late plat lobbies and it was actually easy until you hit d3 and it used to turn into complete different game and experience that i couldnt handle at that time and went back into plat lobbies again and then speed run into d3 and repeat. Horrible experience as i couldnt maintain the difference between the two levels, that was a reason i never grinded ranked in that time except s3 and then s7, never bothered to rank as i dont have a team and i wasn’t that experienced that time, many people might be stuck on 10k, but they are learning. Make the ranked system on placement more than kp and they will stop with the stupid pushes. Atleast they can play on the same level for sometime

Earlier today I was solo queuing casual and a level 1 pathfinder with 23 kills, including me, destroyed my team and I with a rampage without even aiming in our general direction. I spectated and if there was a player in their line of sights, they held the trigger and used the force with all bullets in hitting headshots and not even trying to hide them cheating. I hope EA and respawn fixes the game because it’s a fun game until you lose to someone miles away

Rampage and sentinel are out of ranked and un ranked arena and i didn't see them in br as well today

Honestly I’ve been grinding ranked and it’s honestly gone pretty smoothly…..until i got past gold after that I don’t know what happened but it urned into a shit show

Rampage has just gotta go, they put the Spitfire in Carepack because it was too strong when a full team ran it, then pulled a 180 and released the god damn Auto G7 with overclocking capabilities

Every other game has rank demotion and no one complains about it. Valorant, R6, Halo, etc. I think people who are afraid of having rank demotion probably just barely got their rank by ratting, or getting carried, and they probably don't deserve that rank.

I think that 6KP per game was the sweet spot, 7 is maybe too much. I'd like to have the old ranked system back. This thing with more RP for killing a higher ranked player is only good for people that are being carried by higher rank players. For solo Q it's horrible imo. In plat I'm killing 60-70% gold players. Sometimes silver players too.... no idea how they get into plat lobbies

Ranked is pretty much useless at this point because I can't go a game without getting walled or botted. I squeaked my way to gold 3 and I'm just tired of the garbage at this point that I can't be bothered to queue ranked anymore. Pubs also blow now because all the other higher players must feel the same; I can't seem to get into a single pub without a few stacks of diamonds/masters/preds showing up to make me realize why I wouldn't even last after gold anyway. SBMM has me in the worst spot where they want me to perform against literal preds in pubs but if I try ranked the botters are faster wipes than the pred's with years of play experience.
