I recently went camping in southern Utah. I tied knots to set up my kodiak truck bed tent. I also tied knots for a tarp and a camp swing. Thanks for watching.

One of my new favorite Y/T subscriptions and most practical subscriptions. We all have the need to tie a knot at times. I've purchased several items offered like the Haken clip, marlinspike and sheath, piranha, Gravity hook kit among others with my favorite being the twisted anchor. Excellent knots; great, clear instructions. I've subbed! I'm bad at knots, need to practice to get some muscle memory so I go in the right direction. I FINALLY learned the bowline knot, meaning I can do it successfully. LOL, I know all of you knot heads are laughing at me...

PS, in the old days, we used recycled vinyl billboard graphics as tarps. They were found in a dumpster.

As a matter of interest why didn't you simply spiral the paracord through the tarp grommets on to the beam? That would avoid having a lot of short lengths of cord at the end?
