I want to give a shout out to the channel for not resorting to an AI narrator, which is becoming the new normal. Robin does an excellent job. Thanks and keep up all the good work.
Have a great week ahead, everyone.

As always I very much enjoyed your video. Case 1 a very sad case. One thing I don't understand is why the father told his son not to go after the poacher who he the father thought he knew because he was a rough carater and if the son did cach him to be careful what he said. That doesn't sound like the defendant. Couldn't the gatekeeper just say that he had seen so and so poaching and let his boss take care of it.
Case 2 there is meny strange things in the history of the great lakes going back to pre white man times.
R.C and team l thank you for all your hard work putting out these videos for us to enjoy. I very much wish you all the best in the future

An interesting story, very well told. I think there's some confusion between Marsden Moor (the murder site near Huddersfield) and Marston Moor (the famous battlefield near York where the ghosts are)

I'm not surprised about the fact that the suspect in the case was a Sally Ally Officer. A friend of mine, Alaric was murdered by a husband and wife team of Sally Ally Officers, over near Maidstone. Alaric had a habit of finding very strange religions to join.

I think that justice was done in this case. There certainly wasn’t enough evidence to convict him( I believe). But why did the Treasury bring the charge and not the Crown?

Was it a hanging offence for poaching ?

I rather believe the old timer who said he could identify the culprit by his gait and his footprints.

When you live in a small community, recognizing people by their gaot in dim light is easy especially when they have solitary habits like walking a swamp alone. You'd get to know that sight we'll if you also had such habits.

I cant figure his motive though.

That said I doubt that simple testimony is enough to hang man.

Today the ballistic evidence would reveal far more, but then it was near useless as they could only narrow it down to type of wadding and they had no ability to use thermoluminesence to identify the wadding to an exact batch and lot.

I think he got away with murder but as we say in countries that have capital punishment...betterf10 guilty men go free than 1 innocent be hanged.
