This video is overall very good, I've referred to it to setup unity on a couple windows installs, but what's missing is the Visual Studio 2022 setup from new...unfortunately VRC/Unity documentation ignores it and the Microsoft Learn article about it is contradictory and confusing. Basically just need to know what Visual Studio 2022 components are needed on a fresh install from scratch. If you could add that in your next update, this would be the ultimate one-stop shop for Unity setup! Thank you! EDIT: also that AV3Emulator has been updated to 3.3.0 but still causes problems, I've been told to ignore it; curious what your thoughts are.

Im kind of want to cry because the avatar I have is from Unity 2019 and try to use in 2022 and breaks...trying to make on unity 2019 and I dont know what version of SDK to use because still useles...

nice Tutorial first of all.
The reason for downloading "Unity 2022.3.6" instead one of the newer versions up till this day is because of compability to Gesture- and Avatar 3.0 Manager, or why is that?

Hi so I have a question. I'm editing an avatar for the first time I've already done the blender stuff. I import the fbx into unity right and then where do I go from there? do I set the fbx up and if I do should I make it the same settings as the old fbx?

Im having trouble with the extracting when i just press extract for my character it pops up blender could not be found. (Btw i had to downloaded mine from gmail because i bought it.) Im goning to continue with the steps but im not sure if it'll work

whenever I enable the Avatars 3.0 Manager on the creator companion I get a pop up right before unity starts running saying the new project has compilation errors and that I need to enter safe mode (I just noticed you got the same notification on the video and I was supposed to press ignore it, thank you for the tutorial.)

Hello! Thank you so much for the tutorial and video! You're extremely well spoken and straightforward and I highly appreciate it :] I do have a small question that I cannot find an answer to. If I want the model I'm uploading to work for PC and Quest so both users can see the model, how would I do so? The model I'm using came with two unity packages, a PC and a Quest unity file, and I used the PC model for this tutorial, I don't know if it would work for quest though

Hey, thank you for the video. I have a question. I have followed everything you said in the vid but when I click build nothing happens, do you have any idea as to why? I click it and the buttons gray out/disable. it says building avatar on the progress bit but doesnt do anything. any help you can provide would be appreciated as ive been having problems with this for days now lol.

Love your vids but I gotta ask, do you know what to if your creator companion won’t open at all? Ever since I downloaded the 2022 one (the right one too), I haven’t been able to open creator companion. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Hey! I just have a question, whenever I download the 22.3.6 Unity Editor, It takes forever to "Validate" my download. Ive been sitting on the download for 2 ish hours, restarted my pc and its still doing this. Do you know what the issue is?
