I have 2 corgis. I don't regret it not one bit. About 13 years ago or so my mom called me and said come to where was she was at. I got there she had one of them in her arms. She didn't tell me at the time she already got the female all was left was a male. Brother and sister. I got the male. My stepdad and Mom loved them. Now they both have passed. I have both now. What a pair. I love every minute of it

My 1st dog I ever owned was a PWC. And to this day I have zero regrets.

Corgis- at least the 3 we have had, consecutively, are AMAZING little dogs. They are so friendly....SO friendly. You WILL be hard pressed to get them to stop nipping. The herding instinct also makes them inclined to chase small animals. We lost our second to DM....it was heartbreaking. We waited a few years and got another. We entertained Shelties, but in the end, the fairy mount is our breed.

I’ve had 5 corgis. And between family members and friends the total is 14. They are smart. Loyal. Great at minding young kids and always watching them. And lots of energy.

I’ve had three corgis in my life and while one of them was kind of a little sh*t, it has been an overall positive experience. They really will become your best friend. They are so loving

My corgi is actually my service dog. Somedays I struggle to get out of bed and he always will stay with me and do his job. He's 3 and has been doing this FURever. Corgis are trainable and smart, don't underestimate that.

This is literally one of the most innacurate videos I’ve ever seen lmao corgis are a very healthy breed. They are companion breeds they are breeding but are very well manageable and love to lay by their owners all day. Everything else you named is not exclusive to the corgi breed. They need no extra training or care than another breed. Corgis do not shed excessively. I thought you were supposed to be educated about breeds in this page??

I could give you 5 reasons not to get any breed of dog. Weve had 2 corgi’s and they been great and like any breed of dog they need training but they are loyal and both have loved kids. Most dogs will shed to a certain degree so thats not a problem just to the corgi’s breed.

We have a corgi/jack russell mix and she's smart as a whip. Great at hunting mice and rats, and is still a couch potato. However, she will give you the sad eyes for trying to leave the house, while eating and paws you for endless attention. Not a huge cuddler but will occasionally hit us up for them. She's also neighborhood watch and loves to supervise the neighbors throwing away their trash and getting their mail. One day, she hopes to catch a squirrel too. She's already nailed mice, rats, groundhogs, and rabbits. Her bucket list is almost complete. She also is in charge of our resident pittie. Yep, you read that right, she's in charge around here. We adore them both.

If you don't put weight on your corgi's back and don't over-feed it, a corgi can be very safe with its surroundings. Also, its true corgis are active but if you don't have time to walk a corgi then maybe try and get another breed that don't need that much attention. Overall, corgis are a very good breed of dog just make sure you research about them before getting one!

My corgi was amazing. He was well mannered. Had bursts of energy but was also a couch potato. He just passed a few days ago due to seizures caused by a brain tumor. He ultimately had a stroke and passed.
