Listen to this recording to hear insights on the effects of rising sea levels on installations from Francis Mills, Chair of the Institution's Construction & Building Services Division, Tim Fox, Chair of the Institution's Process Division and John Englander, President of the International Sea Level Institute. Over the course of this webinar, these three contributors will address how rising sea levels are being measured and monitored, and what engineers can do to mitigate their impact.

Scientists forecast that sea levels will be at least one meter higher within 30 years, with many estimates placing this far higher. It is therefore important to plan for how to protect coastal infrastructure and developments which will be at risk of flooding and other associated damage.

This is a recording of a webinar that took place on 12 November 2019.
