Slow jigging tips.. Fishing with slow pitch jigs

Fishing with Slow pitch jigs is super successful for catching all reef species, snapper, pearl perch, nannygai, trout just about anything will eat a correctly fished slow pitch jig.

I am showing you a few tips that have helped me catch more fish when slow jigging that should help you. Let me know if you have other little tricks that help you when slow jigging in the comments below..

Great info and video mate - thx. I was interested in your comment that you use 80g-150g jigs. Do you find the rod (I think listed in comments as NS Black Hole Amped Slow Jigging B-63H2MF Jig wt. 150-350gr, PE 2-4, Length: 6'3") works the jigs ok with the lighter jigs give that they are lighter than the recommended rating? Reason I ask is that I have my eye on an Oceans Legacy Elementus Slow Jigging which is PE3 and jig weights 120g-320g. I really only want to use 80g-120g really.

Great video mate! Upgrading my jigging setup and looking at getting a Lexa HD HS. From personal experience is a 7 gear ratio too high? I haven't really gotten a solid answer online so any insight would be helpful, cheers!

Hi mate, I've used my friend's Torium which doesn't come with a level wind. It's my first time using it and I'm having trouble evenly distributing the line on to the spool while slow jigging. any advice would be much appreciated
