Hands down the most educated and trustworthy business owners in the jigging world in the southeast. Plus they give you all the time needed to fully understand the basics. Great group of guys.

that analogy your boy @ around 7 minutes, uses with the puppet to explain "line scope" is spot on. good job on that.

Started using 30-60g jigs here in FL on the inshore reefs. Even in 100ft of water its deadly. When the bite slows going lighter is a good way to keep ncie fish biting.

Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge. Slow jigging has become my go to off Summerland Key. Still learning technique. "Always stay on top of the puppet!" Yep.

Outstanding video! Very informative. This and the video about slow pitch jigging rod selection are two of the most useful videos on the 'Tube.
My only issue is with the volume of the music. It competes with your voice too much. Otherwise, thank you for this useful information.

Thanks for the info. Planning my 2nd Wreck Fishing trip off NC, and first attempt at jigging. Last trip I noticed the people that looked like locals, and had the biggest fish, were jigging. 1 Gram per 1 ft of water.

I like to keep the fish guessing, sometimes I hold onto the jig and throw my rod and reel in. 👍

Mine come today - I am on San Diego fleet all summer - can’t wait to try them. A video of putting on the hooks - assist-hooks - and leaders especially for the Pelagics - would be great to see too!

Great video. This was an extremely helpful video to understand different shapes, colors, and when to use them. Would love to see more videos showing how the jigs work below the water in various conditions and with various rod action. An above water shot of the rod action and below water shot of the jigs moving around. I read a lot about problems with scoped out jigs, would like to see what that looks like under water. Thanks for the great videos and jigs.

I just saw the video you did here in San Diego. I have a penn 25n2 with a Penn slow pitch jigging reel. Plan on fishing around 100 feet water for local rockfish and possible lingcod and sheepshead. What color and set up do you recommend? There are few people here doing this but it is catching on. Keep up the cool videos.

Thanks Johnny. Best video I've seen on SP Jigging. Your 12 pack of jigs is awesome. Thanks for making it easy on us new guys getting into jigging. Much appreciated.
