The 10 Must-know Changes of DayZ 1.26

DayZ has some hidden changes in this update that are not in the patch notes for what's new and changed in 1.26. I go over the new items, new mechanics, temperature changes and the long list of changes to DayZ this patch.

Why in gods name did they take so many guns away from Livonia? Might as well have made it a medieval map with Swords, Maces and Shields only!

Fun thing we found out last night, you can't force-feed a player if they have their HUD off (not the hotbar, the status bars)

The inventory size reduction is absolutely ridiculous....you can't even carry the nbc gear to the gas zone if you have anything else on you.

Removing weapons from certain maps just means less content and variety. Why would they do this???

Less inventory, nerfed torches and now more weapon removals? Ridiculous. Its the apocalypse, with plenty of military presence on every map.

I think you should have a unique character for every official server and remove the ability to just transfer between servers and maps

So they just killed Livonia right? The amount of Low/Mid tier guns has been almost cut in half

Quite simple to fix realistically fix the gun issue, just have a crashed ac130 like the one on NWAF and make it so that spawns just like helis.
But instead they carry items, clothing and guns that don’t spawn naturally on the map

The severe gun spawn changes to Livonia will kill that map if not rethought. Glad that community servers can still put the guns back if desired, but what a terrible change. I just don't understand how they thought this would improve Livonia. It's a practical death sentence.

They seriously need to fix the A.I. Zombies hear me from miles away, make no sound before attacking. Same with wolves & they're spawning very frequently

Livonia being my usual grind I have noticed that is gets hot sometimes and I have to go for a swim to cool off. Using the chainmail and knight armor I have to keep my bag, gloves, belt, and boots wet to keep cool most days but every now and then even thats not enough to keep me out of the yellow.

I didn't know they took all those guns from Livonia which explains why I couldn't find long horn at the camps. Needed the pistol scope off one for my deagle.

This only furthers my argument against server hopping/map swapping on official. People bunker running the new map and then switching to Livonia with all those guns. Meanwhile I can't even find a pistol scope the ole fashioned way by stripping one off a longhorn which were plentiful prior. Hell hunting scopes don't seem to be spawning in camps anymore.

The only hunting clothes we get one Livonia are now summer with low insulation. Hard to stay warm most days with this crap. They are now forcing us to go for military loot or find another way to keep warm. Even sitting next to a fire outside in these hunting clothes I'm still cold and can't get a heat buff most days on Livonia.

Removing weapons without a replacement weapons ready to go is the dumbest thing i have seen the devs do.
I can understand wanting maps to feel distinct from eachother, but removing content isnt the way to accomplish this.

I see the comments saying Livonia west guns sakhal East guns blah blah blah but the tundra doesn’t make sense, it’s a Winchester model 70 made in the US shooting western ammunition..
