Really really love the last part where Excelsior's nacelles briefly power up and then fail, and how the nacelles power down completely and the ship starts to drift. It's details like this that make your version fantastic!

The refit enterprise is a character on its own. Every segment of the score on the Enterprise is like a story. A wounded ship at what ever the cost to reach Spock and bring him back. Goosebumps!.

The difference with most all film today is they lack the majesty and artistry that pulls you into the moment.

These segments from the original films are like art. Every detail considered. The design. The composition. The lighting. The pacing.

The way the light glistens off Enterprise's hull when she clears the space doors...beautiful. Also I love the added shot of the Excelsior's viewscreen and how we actually see the engines light up and then sputter out. Nice work all around.

God, it always hurts my heart to see the damage that Khan inflicted on Enterprise.

Well done on the subtle touches here, especially Excelsior's nacelles powering up for a second before cutting out!
