My first impression was a very strong one, ’ repeated  the prince. ‘When they took me away from Russia, I  remember I passed through many German towns and  looked out of the windows, but did not trouble so much  as to ask questions about them. Julien, sometimes I’m able to put myself in situations effortlessly. At other times, I’m unable to put myself out there because of depressive ruts or anxious overthinking about how people will judge me.

I would argue this point. I cared about my gf hapinnes more than herslef. Also I cared more about making her happy than making myself happy. I just had to leave when I saw that I coulndnt do it. I would say that nobody can make you happy and nobody can improve your life if youre not happy but yourself.
