This film may not have been perfect, but you have to admit this final interaction between brother and sister is truly touching.

On opening night, this scene and Luke's response immediately touched me deeply, I will never forget it.

"No one's ever really gone."

This. One of two lines that seals the redemption arc/fate of Kylo Ren in TROS. The other being "Strike me down in anger and I'll always be with you. Just like your father.".

This is the last star wars movie me and my mom got to see before she passed away from a brain aneurysm. This scene always makes me think of her.

Even though the last jedi was very rough this is probably my favourite scene in Star Wars.

I feel like this was a way to say goodbye to Carrie Fisher.

this scene really gets me cause it really tells u that one day ther is hope to see whoever in the afterlife or come back as redeme ther mistakes
that one day they will come back as the good guy and not the villian anymore no matter wat they did

Your right Luke, Maul lives, Palpatine Lives, Fennec Shand lives, Marshall lives, Boba lives, Mace is about to return, Shaak Ti keeps living, What was that Dave Filoni shirt says about Ashoka? I forgot, someone help me, I really forgot.

For all the faults with last jedi this scene was really good.

The arc of failure and how the last two films deal with death are seriously very redeeming and why TLJ is my favorite Star Wars film behind Empire.

Nobody’s ever really gone especially not Carrie Fisher

This scene is one of the reasons why "Last Jedi" is one of my all-time favorite "Star Wars" movies. This movie had scenes of the kind of emotional depth that George Lucas was completely incapable of for the most part. True, it wasn't perfect, but at least it attempted to be something more than an two-hour exercise in pushing merch.
