Summer Slowdown is a real thing. Once the kids and college students are back in session, business will pick up tremendously. I’m in the Atlanta market, and I’ve noticed a 30-40% decrease in revenue since the Summer started, along with very dead times throughout the day and night, when it was ALWAYS business anytime of the day and night for me.

I have been watching your videos since back when you lived in Boston and they are awesome! I have been doing uber/lyft/amazon flex/doordash out here in Phoenix since 2017 and I can tell you June-mid August are just trash. Does not start picking up until ASU comes back for the fall semester and it will get better as it cools down and visitors return. Keep up the videos because they are great and good luck out there!

I live in Scottsdale area. July is by far the worst month. ASU is out for summer and a ton of people go on vacation to avoid the 110 degree heat.

Its summer its the worst time to drive right now it will pick up in late august. Also you can always use one of your destinations and uber will send you rides towards your home

I do Uber Rideshare in Phoenix and usually work between 11am and 7pm. It picks up M-F between 2pm and 6pm. At this time of the year that will make me around $140. Between September and April that's an easy $200 regardless of the day. Holiday weekends here that aren't Thanksgiving and Christmas are pretty shit though. People leave AZ on those long weekends.

When I started Uber rideshare in 2014 we made $100-$200 an hour!!!!Ain't no way risking your life with strangers is worth $60 bucks. Please do not waste your time any further. Food delivery is 100% safer, pays better and is easier🤗

man i'm glad i'm done with food deliveries, after 9 years, got hired from my local transit agency, base pay is $31 per hour and overtime is 1.5X, $45 per hour. Don't think I will get back to doing deliveries but it was good while it lasted
