Diamonds In The Rough was originally released on CD in 2008 as part of the DVD+CD release “Live in the LBC/Diamonds in the Rough”. It is a compilation of b-sides recorded during the making of the band’s self-titled 2007 debut, rarities, covers and other non-album tracks. The 2020 vinyl and digital release of the album has been remastered and is expanded by 5 tracks, featuring the unreleased track “Set Me Free” (recorded during the “Hail To The King” sessions). It also includes other hard-to-find tracks such as the fan-favorite “St, James”, “4AM” and “Lost It All”. The 16 track album also includes the band’s cover of Black Sabbath’s “Paranoid”, which originally came out in 2009 on the Warner Bros album “Covered”. The vinyl is released on limited edition clear vinyl.

I hadn't heard the band for a while. It's a band that reminds me A LOT of a great friend I had who was a huge fan of them. He is gone, unfortunately. And when I listen, I feel close to my friend again.

I would listen to Avenged Sevenfold every day to and from middle school on the bus. (City of Evil and Nightmare were my favorite albums) I am in college now and I still listen to them when I walk to campus from my apartment.
Love these guys. They've been the soundtrack to my traveling lol

Man I’ve loved this album since 2008, and my god is this one the best on the album. I’m so glad people can see all the songs they missed out on. Imo this is their best album they’ve ever done, and it’s a shame they didn’t show the world earlier.

when i was 14 i decided for this to be the best song they've ever made. now 8 years later at 22 and after having moved on from my metal/rock phase for the most part i still stand with that. like oh my, what a song. the song structure is outstanding. so intense. never not a joy listening to it.
