Lewis is a remarkable person. He has Tourette’s Syndrome. If you go search for his Glastonbury performance from 2023 he has an issue finishing a song and the crowd helped him out. It’s a tear jerking situation. He’s taken some time off to try to get some help with it and I hope he comes back because he has a wonderful voice and tells moving stories with his songs.

Capaldi nailed the pain and questioning experienced by survivors of suicide loss. This song always brings tears but it’s also helpful to feel seen in suffering.

I love the fact that Lewis writes and sings about his family. Most people will think his song is about a breakup and he’s like no, this is about my grandma dying (someone you loved) and this song talks about his moms sister unaliving herself and it’s his moms POV. I cry every time. So real and raw.

Probably my favorite song by him. It makes me ugly cry every time bc I’m familiar with the pain he feels in this one. I’ve lost several family members from *self deleting* and this one just brings me back to when I found out about each of them 💔 Definitely worth going through his catalogue.

Lewis is the second cousin once removed to a wonderful actor named Peter Capaldi, who was also in one of his videos for a song called Someone You Loved. I really think you should react to that song and that video.

Lewis is amazing. His voice is so powerful, not just in the way he sounds but also the message behind his music. I think - in large part - because he's so intimately familiar with the pain, loss, and struggles he often sings about. He's been extremely open about his experience with mental health and the difficulties of navigating life when your brain is constantly trying to k!ll you.

My auntie used to date Lewis dad mark years and years ago now but I still use it as my claim to fame 🤦😂 met him a couple times, most genuine likeable laddie with an outstanding voice, hope he comes back and battles that tourettes 💯

I just looked up the release date for this song, it was November 2019.
Little did I know I would listen to it hundreds, maybe thousands of times after the love of my life, Matthew, died by suicide just 3 1/2 months later.
This song is absolutely heartbreaking 😭
It always reminds me of the period of time I spent enveloped in, what presented itself as, unsurvivable emotional grief.
