Came here to say this movie should actually credit Otep for the short story it's based on and give her royalties, settle out of court and do what's right. As an Indonesian myself, it's pretty cool to hear that one of the best Indonesian filmmakers is now doing a Hollywood movie with Jessica Alba. She previously directed "Marlina The Murderer in Four Acts" which is one of my favourite Indonesian movie of all time and this is her first movie since that movie came out in 2017 so it's been quite a while since the last time she directed a feature film
