We're Chris W. Smith and Jack De Sena (aka Chris & Jack). We've been friends for years and love making high-quality, high-concept sketch comedy. Chris was a Blue Man in Blue Man Group. Jack voiced Sokka in Avatar the Last Airbender. In 2016 we united to create this channel, confusingly titled “Chris & Jack”, which has served as a shared platform to write, produce, direct, edit, and star in our own stuff. Also, we were also ghosts the whole time you were reading this. Supernatural twist!

The little giggle at 3:29 is the best thing about this video.

The jokes are very funny and well-delivered, but the relationship shifts and growth between the Professor and Shannon are what keep bringing me back to the video. The subtle contempt in "presumably, " to the mix of annoyance and validation he gets when Shannon also hears the clicking sound, and especially to the "Professor Buddy" exchange, followed by the paling around in the chair: "It's hard." The individual acting chops of each guy is amazing, but their chemistry is unbelievable. The wink and thumbs-up exchange at the end are legitimately touching, because of how well this relationship is built in just five minutes. I just discovered this channel a few weeks ago, and I've watched this video maybe ten times. It keeps delivering.

I love the dynamic between Professor Larson and Shannon, it’s a fun subversion of the ‘evil villain doesn’t care about his henchmen’ trope. That wink at the end is everything to me.

Really makes you appreciate all the little things that go into an evil reception.

Even Agent Tanner seems to appreciate the level of professionalism that Professor Larson brings to the business.
