Viewtron 4K hybrid DVRs support the following security camera types: analog CCTV (CVBS), HD-TVI, AHD, HD-CVI, and network IP. Video resolution up to 4K is supported for BNC cameras and IP cameras. Users can mix and match any type of camera in any resolution.

BNC cameras are hard wired to the DVR using RG59 Siamese coax cable. IP cameras must be on the same network as the DVR so that the DVR can connect to them. This is done by connecting the IP cameras and DVR to the same network switch or router.

A unique feature of Viewtron BNC DVRs is the ability to designate a BNC port for an IP camera. This is demonstrated in the video demo using the DVRs simple to use interface and controlling it with the USB mouse that is included.

These DVRs are the best solution for customers that have older analog CCTV cameras and want to upgrade to 4K BNC or 4K IP cameras. They are also the best solution for customers that need to mix BNC and IP cameras on the same DVR.

Support for IP cameras opens up many possibilities for hybrid camera applications. Here are a few.

~ License plate capture systems for gated community
~ Wireless elevator camera systems
~ Wireless camera systems for multiple buildings, detected garage, barns, etc.
~ Upgrading from low definition BNC cameras to HD security cameras (BNC or IP)

CCTV Camera Pros supplies these DVRs and designs complete video surveillance systems for home, business, and government. We ship all of our products worldwide.

This may be my solution to use a auto tracking 30xzoom camera on my 8ch hikvision 4 in 1 dvr it also has the option for up to 4 ip cameras because I bought a 30x zoom 4 in 1 camera the seller said it has auto tracking feature but I don't see it so I may return it and just get an auto tracking 30 x zoom ptz ip camera and just add it to dvr like you did here

We currently have 8 old style BNC cameras over coax transmission. After spending Thousands of dollars in labor, and burrying cable, we now need to upgrade to HD.

Could you please tell me whether it would be a must to use a network switch or you can simply connect the IP camera as well as the dvr to the router directly ?

Could you use some adapter from Amazon or something that you plug the Ethernet into and also the coax cable to dvr and power cable? Sorry if that doesn’t make sense

Is there anyway to connect an Ip camera directly to an HDMI monitor. Or simplest way like maybe just a converter in between or something.

Did you leave the ip cameras on DHCP or Static ip? What happens if the ip on the camera gets changed by the router/network?

I have an 8 channel PVR with 8 BNC cameras connected, displayed in 8 segments on my TV but it says I can add 2 IP cameras, if I add these extra IP cameras, will they show up on my TV along with the existing cameras or will I have to disable 2 BNC cameras in order for them to display?
