Can you explain why do you call the driver crazy?
Simple physics. Momentum, mass and weight + steel rolls on steel...
Anyway, if you watch the full footage, it is obvious that the driver applied brakes, pulled control fully back plus horns several times. She was aware of the situation, did everything what she could. Yes, she is really cold blooded, no OMG and other emotional expressions.
I would travel with her any time!

Her response was extremely well-managed. As soon as she saw that a crash would be unavoidable, she applied the brakes to lessen the impact force. I don't understand why people are cross with her just for remaining calm & composed.

and how about the idiot in the car who was responsible for his reckless driving (i assume running in front of the tram cause he/she could not wait a second to check for safety) and endangering the lives of passengers, if there were any?

Got to say that as a city bus driver, we can not stop on a dime and we have kids standing on seats elderly that can not quickly brace...Please keep this in mind when you see a bus or tram, sudden braking can injure our passengers..
So when you see this car get crunched, think no passenger injury from sudden braking on the tram ..

When I lived in Enid Oklahoma, I got hit by a train on the front half of the car pushed us out of the track, or we'd been fatalities. But the trains cannot stop on a dime, and maybe she can't stop.
