Excited to share the OFFICIAL TRAILER for our Flight of the Navigator documentary! LIFE AFTER THE NAVIGATOR is a feature documentary that celebrates the iconic 1986 classic from Randal Kleiser, Flight of the Navigator, and looks at the life of star Joey Cramer since that breakthrough role.

The feature documentary was filmed over 3 years and features interviews with Flight of the Navigator cast and crew, including Joey Cramer, Randal Kleiser, Veronica Cartwright (of "Alien" fame), Cliff De Young, Matt Adler (of "North Shore" and "Teen Wolf" fame, Raymond Forchoin, Tim Blaney and Tony Urbano (also responsible for classics such as "Short Circuit"), Jeffrey Kleiser (the digital effects guru behind "Tron") and more.

Being huge fans of Flight of the Navigator, one of the greatest science fiction films of the 80s, with that incredibly iconic soundtrack by Alan Silvestri, it was amazing to really delve into what makes this film so special but also looks at the reality of Joey Cramer's life - you read headlines like Joey Cramer bank robbery or Joey Cramer former child star arrested, where are they now, stories on child actors, but the question is what happened?

In LIFE AFTER THE NAVIGATOR we answer that.

My grandparents wore the VHS tape out from me watching this movie. I now work on stuff (not allowed to say, and good stuff, not bad stuff) that goes to space. Flight of the Navigator was an inspiration to me. Joey, bro, even if you just acted in a film, many people stand on your shoulders that work in this field today.

Flight of the Navigator was my favourite movie growing up, I wore out our VHS copy from repetitive views. I still adore the film and watch it at least once a year when I'm in need of that nostalgic feeling that instantly brings me back to my childhood. I was both saddened and surprised when I looked Joey up years ago to find his life fell on hard times. I'm looking forward to seeing this documentary and I hope Joey can keep plugging away and not feel overwhelmed or pressured to live up to his fans or anyone else's expectations but his own. It appears he's on the right track, in fact, he looks about ten years younger than his age. Keep moving forward, Joey!

My aunt took me to the cinema to watch FOTN when I was 8 or so. My name is David and my brother is Jeff, so right away my kid brain was confused, thinking there was something special about this, and then that part where he knocks on his old house, calling out from his mom and dad... that stayed with me my whole life. I just showed it to my current partner who has never seen it, and it still hit me hard! Classic.

Loved this movie when I was a kid. The scene that stayed with me the longest was when he came back from the flight, and it was years later. He ran into his childhood home only to find out that it wasn't anymore. Such an emotional scene.

I can't wait for this to come out. FOTN was THE film of my childhood in the 80s. We had Jaws, ET, Ghostbusters, The Goonies and too many other classics to mention, but FOTN always captured my imagination.

I saw Flight of the Navigator at the cinema in 1986 and my parents took me to Florida in 1990 and We went to Universal Studios and saw the spaceship in the backstage Tour being 11 and seeing that was amazing, its been one of my favourite movies for years Cant wait for this 😃🤩

I randomly came across this documentary last night on Amazon Prime. Of course I loved the original movie growing up as a kid so naturally I had to give this documentary a shot. This film completely caught me off guard...not at all what I expected and one of the best I've seen in a very long time. A very emotional and inspiring message about life paralleled with a great nostalgia about the film itself. I feel like Flight of Navigator was made all of those years ago just so this documentary/story could be told today. I've already sent out multiple texts and emails to friends telling them this is a must watch.

Love the Movie, Joey was perfectly cast in it, and it is so sad to see how he fell. But now he has risen and seems better than ever.

This was my favorite childhood and I’m happy that Joey turned his life around. After all the negative and sad stories about fallen child stars finally a positive one. Hope he gets a second lease on his acting career, which I feel he will.

This movie got me hooked into Sci-Fi even though that wasn't it's original intent. The story, the primitive to this day CGI, the whole thing just made me dream & think of a "Could this actually be real?". It holds a real special place in my heart.

I'm 38, As a kid, I couldn't tell you how many times i watch this movie but it has to be close to 100 times or more but even as an adult I still try to watch it every few years. Watching great movies you grew up with help keeps those memories alive
