The rough new player experience aside though, once you got it down it is actually one of the if not the best ARPGs out there at the moment

Poe is an insanely good and enjoyable game when you give it a bit of time to learn the basics, i hope you stick with it for a bit Grubby, have fun and enjoy the ride.

I see POE like Dota. There's so much to learn to fully enjoy the game, but it is so worth it once you do.

Make sure to press "Z", it is a toggle on your item slots. Those 3-colour slots in each of your items where you place gems can be visible permanently. Not only that, but that "Z" also automatically shows you all the items you drop on the ground so you don't have to keep looking for them with your mouse. Oh, and since gold does not exist in PoE, currency is simply made of all kinds of orbs you drop, but the strongest and most used are "chaos orb" and "exalted orb" but you prolly won't see those for quite a while.

without any overexxaggeration: The entire campaign (your first 10-20 hours?) will be the BASIC tutorial of the game. After campaign, you'll have to study the game... forever. Enjoy, I'm pretty sure you will love it!

I am a longtime fan of yours, watching you play Warcraft III and Heroes of the Storm were some really good times for me :) Been playing Path of Exile for a long time and to see you get involved in one of my favourite games is just awesome!
