I love how this guy doesn’t only show you the algorithms, but he also gives you a strategy on how to memorize each one!
Thank you so much! This is the only tutorial on OLL that I can actually follow along with!

For anyone looking to save time when practicing this: once you solve using this method, if you use one of these algorithms on it again it will un-solve the top layer while still leaving the lower layers solved. Means you don't always have to repeat the steps earlier in the cube to practice.

For a long time I have said “screw it” and did the cross and f2l from CFOP then finished the rest with beginner’s method, because I absolutely hate memorizing algorithms, but that will not get me to my goal of sub20, so now I’m finally stepping out of my comfort zone, and I’m hoping this will help

Edit: spent 20 minutes writing down every single algorithm, then practicing

Edit 2: for anyone wondering I gave up on this a while ago but now my 10 year old brother got a gan as a birthday gift and he also started learning OLL and PLL and now does consistently sub 60 (his pb is 30 something I think) so now I have to start again to beat him cause I taught him how to solve a cube in the first place and it’s embarrassing that he’s faster then me (it’s funny though cuz he’s still using the daisy instead of doing cross straight from the start)

J Perm, you should write a book with all the algorithms in it divided by chapters for learning curve. I would definitely buy it and I would love to have a physical copy of them all so I can glance over them at work.

This tutorial is so good. I screenshotted all of the algorithms. It is the 3rd day and I have already learned 9 out of 10 algorithms.

I was writing the algorithms in a word document when I suddenly looked in the bio and saw that J perm already had written the algorithms for me. And that is why he is my favorite cubing YouTuber.

Here's a tip for everyone here - if you want to focus on learning a single algorithm, just repeat it over and over - the same algorithm on the completed yellow face puts you back to where you started

Just Learned **OLL** Step my average was 45 seconds earlier now its 34 tysm gotta learn the **PLL And F2L** .

Time stamps for me:
1:45 "sune" One yellow corner in the right place, on the LEFT
2:23 "Antisune" One yellow corner in the right place, on the RIGHT
2:45 "H" no corners there, the yellow posters are facing forward, one to you and one in the opposite direction
3:08 "Pi" No corners, one of them face you and one on the side, not the same side.
3:44 "L" Two corners solved, diagonal
4:35 "T" Two corners solved, next to each other, the yellow stickers on the sides
5:18 " U" Two corners solved, next to each other, the yellow stickers face forward.
