A Faster 2-Look OLL Technique

Even if you know 1-look OLL, this is still useful if you ever teach somebody 2-look OLL.

For dot cases, you can do M U (R U R' U') M2 (U R U' r') which keeps the corners. You need to do a U' (in the beginning or in the end) to get the original orientation.

I can use F R U R' U' and predict which cross case ill have and how to set up for it. I've been using 2 look OLL for so long I just learned where the pieces move.

Have you considered applying this concept to COLL/EPLL? Instead of using standard COLL algs, you could use the COLLs which preserve a 1x2x2 block in the last layer, allowing you to easily predict the EPLL case you'll get afterwards.

This is basically 1LLL with just 61 algs (40 COLL + 21 PLL), assuming edges are oriented.

Use eo algs that don't affect anything else, and use co algs that don't affect permutation, and use cp algs that don't affect ep, and now you basically have 1lll

I think you should remake your 2-look OLL video with this approach (including the corners solved dot case) for the first look, this is so much better but few pepole will see it at the right time.
