I am a railroader and a logger. The round house out last the carhartt every time. And they feel better out of the box than the others do after a year. Also carhartts are sized for tree people with tubular legs are something. The round house fit real people the way they are supposed to. I get over a year out of the roundhouse the carhartts make it about 8 months.

Carharrt jeans with the brown liner pockets spit along the back pocket after several wear about a month after I bought them. Hence I went to Round House Jeans and I wish I had become aware of Round House a lot earlier.

I have never seen Carhartt jeans in person that were made in the USA. My experience with my pairs of Round House jeans has been great. They feel "light" (even if they're not) and unlike most jeans, don't have metal buttons that may scratch surfaces one touches. As a result, someone working in the automotive industry may find Round House jeans optimal to prevent scratching vehicles.

I do EIS carpentry, working with a bunch of steel material and drywall and the Carhartt double fronts are ideal. If I knick them on the edge of a steel stud or something I've got another layer of fabric so there isn't a hole all the way to the skin. Love my Carhartts. Just got a pair of Rigby flex jeans and the mobility in those is amazing. Almost feel like I'm naked.

is hard to find those made in USA, I agree. I have decided to stick with roundhouse.

If you want USA made Carhartt double fronts, you have to specify "Firm Duck" all of those made from Firm Duck are USA made

Carhartts are great. I have them for work in FRC and easily one of the most comfortable for work. I started wearing mountain khakis (original mount pant) for almost everyday wear. And they are impressive

Things will always dry faster under an ac vent. It takes moisture out of the air.. I have 8 pairs of carhart duck jeans. They are hard to beat.I will try the roundhouse.

I have both. They both have their pluses and minuses. The Round House is softer. I also like that they don't have buttons on them that scratch stuff. The Carhartts seem thicker, and hold up better in briars. Also, the Round House ones have like a million strings hanging off of them brand new. Both pair of mine did. Carhartts did not.

My vote....Round House for carpentry (what I do), and Carhartt for woods work (I also do)

The double knees are for knee pads to be inserted in the bottom slot

I have both. Used in Structural Ironwork. The Carhartt dungarees fit better. More mobility. Looser cut.

how have the roundhouse held up? I have the double front, US made carhartts and i do tree work, pants only last me a good 2 months but the carhartts lasted me almost 4 they have wear at the bottom cuff or whatever the hell its called, from rubbing on my boots and my right front pocket is showing some wear from using my knife and wedges but thats it...I love them, but they never really broke in for me and i wear them almost every day...im really not afraid of price, i just want something comfortable and something thats going to hold up
