I personally think overalls look way better on chicks than they do on dudes. That's just my opinion.

Were the dickies female? Maybe you need the male, those are probably more narrow. I don't like the way the straps connect to the Carhart. I prefer the classic metal hoops look.

I have to disagree; Obviously can't attest to how they personally feel ON you, but I'm sure the Dickies looked better on you from behind. And no...I'm not one those guys. Just an honest opinion. With that, I'm primarily a Cahartt person. I do have a few Dickies products, but, the Carhartts just always hold-up better for me, but that's in an industrial environment. For fashion alone? (which I'd never wear them for), I'd save at least half the money and go with the Dickies.
