My first time playing Kenshi I was immediately beaten unconscious and left for dead. As I lay dying people passing by looted my pockets. Needless to say I instantly fell in love with this game. It reminds me of my own twisted existence. 😄

I played Kenshi a LOT when it was in alpha, so I was really looking forward to the new map. When it was released, I started a new game, finding myself outside this very city. So I walked inside, entered a building, and was beaten bloody and thrown into jail for two days. Heh, heh.

That was the FIRST thing that happened to me in the game (on the current map, I mean). This is why I love Kenshi - well, one of the reasons, at least.

PS. Yeah, I was a human, but I didn't realize that some buildings were private. So I ended up just sitting in a cage, fast-fowarding for two days. After that, no problem. And they'd even bandaged me! :)

As a veteran with over 1000 useless hours in Kenshi i can tell you a cheat (read on your own risk for spoilers)




One of many ways (You) can get instant high reputation with holy nation is simply by running to the flotsam ninja's village (check kenshi wiki), talking to Moll about joining her and at the end declaring that you *swear your allegiance to the Holy Phoenix*

It will give you enough reputation with HN (around 60) for them to ignore all your skeletons and non-humans and not be hostile to you.
