Top 10 Tips for the Black Ops 6 Open Beta!

The second weekend (open portion) of the Black Ops 6 Beta is now live and today, I wanted to share a handful of tips to help get you on your feet since a lot has changed with this game compared to previous ones and there is a bit of a learning curve. Important regarding the HVT mode:

When you’re the HVT, you have more health and you have armor plates. Plate up when you can. Also, when you’re downed, you can be revived, but you also have a pistol. You can kill enemies while downed!

If you see a blue outline glow around your gun, you’re the HVT. You probably just missed the announcement.

Diving in BO6 has the added benefit of incorporating auto-mantling. So if there's a roughly waist-high obstacle in front you and you dive at it, you will go over it and land prone. This can be great for utilizing cover; it also makes diving through windows much smoother.

Little bit of weapon tip: The Swat is an Auto-Burst (Just keep holding the trigger)

I have movement tip that wasn't mentioned, try the jump slide. It makes you slide faster and further, all you have to do is press the following buttons in this order.


Jump
Aim
Slide

As long as you hit the slide button before you land you get a slide boost and it can be effective when running into an enemy head-on.

the thing i like the most about this omni movement is the new prone mechanic and working sideways and backwards. yeah the dive sideways and backwards are nice but for me mostly getting to cover

I found that if you use the Greed extra perk skill, a good combo for aggressive players is to use 3 red perks to get the enforcer specialty, then add Guardian as you extra fourth perk. This way you get faster healing any time you get a kill or are on an objective.

I didn’t realize you can get the specialty perk by setting your final perk greed perk to one of the specific groups. That’s cool

I know it’s an unpopular play style but the pump action shotgun is absolutely useless in this game. Zero point in using it

Running sideways has been my favorite and most used omnimovement. Jiggle peeking way faster and you can cook grenades and run sideways simultaneously

The DM-10 is nasty once you get attachments on it. Definitely has the fastest TTK in the game right now as it’s a reasonable fire rate 2 shot kill

If you're uncertain of how to pull out dedicated melee, hold your melee button. I'd assume it's the same on all platforms (Hold R3 on PS)

supine tip: might sound obvious but if you do dive and get a kill, and you know there's more enemies in sight. IMO: stay down and shoot from supine. You can react super fast while down there, and in a a lot cases its way easier\faster than trying get up and get the next kill. And honestly it didn't even feel awkward getting use to it, It felt natural after maybe 5 times doing.

Tip 11. Back out of the lobby if you get the Babylon map.

Make sure to use the directional sliding. Sliding sideways around a corner so youre preaiming the enemy is really good.
