*... OK! Well, for once: SONY is being reasonable! (I'm actually surprised that such details weren't part of the deal since the start). Perfectly normal and acceptable that they would declare their plans to use a character and ask that Marvel not directly compete with them: I'm actually amazed that they did not ask for a much longer wait period, like 2 to 5 years, instead of 30 days after hard copy release before letting them use the same character! (Which could have been a little severe but ultimately within their rights!)*

Wait if true then they didn’t notify Marvel beforehand about not using characters they had plans for because isn’t that what happened with Kraven?.

Apparently, Watts wanted to have him as the villain in the third Spidey MCU movie but Sony told them they couldn’t because of their own movie plans hence we got NWH.

I guess now they will have to tell them way before so they don’t even consider using that character.

Anyway we’ll see, I’m still hoping the Knull and Venom team up rumor for Spidey 4 is untrue please!!.

So what does that mean if Sony wants a Kraven 2? The stipulation loops and Marvel is exempt from him again? Would they have to announce it before the 30 days after home release? And is there a deadline for how far into production they have to be before the embargo bounces (considering the amount of Sony marvel films that have been stuck in development hell for the past 10 years)?

Tbh if the mcu is based on the ultimates unverse, the Disney shoud do a live action Miles Morales ultimate Spider-Man film but make him a west coast spiderman
