I still have this game installed on my computer, so I gave some time to record a 6 minute video of the main menu and the soundtrack.

I remember my friends running to my house on Friday night waking me up from a nap with pure excitement because their dad bought them this game and we went running as fast as we could to their house to play it for the first time. One out of the four of us passed away but I will always cherish the memories I had with these boys. My best friends.

Oh.
Somehow I never noticed this but Halo 2's menu shows Regret's carrier over New Mombasa, and then Halo 3's menu shows the same area, only with the destroyed remnants of the orbital elevator.

The version of the Halo theme that plays at 0:26 will always be the definitive version of the Halo theme for me, I love the high-pitched choir
