Most halo themes make you feel like running out and blasting some covvies, but this one is so... peaceful. Very pretty.

The main Halo series makes you feel like a badass who can do anything you wanna do.
Halo Reach showed us the true horrors of the Human-Covenant War, and not all Heroes come back home.
Halo Wars showed us what it was like to be the Commanders who had to watch as their soldiers went to the Frontlines, and almost all of them...never came back.

I just realised the beginning and ending piano is part of never forget and that makes this song so much better

This piece is extremely emotional and subtle. There’s no intense bwahs or massive orchestral swelling. There’s just some Halo Wars 1/Halo 3 style piano and strings. It’s a song that’s worthy of a Halo menu theme.

Shame the rest of the soundtrack doesn’t sound nearly as fitting to Halo as this one menu soundtrack does.

I waited years for a halo wars sequel and this game did not disappoint it's too much fun and this music is amazing the menu theme sounds like a new version of the classic halo wars theme I loved hearing every time I fired up the old game. Honestly the only two rts games I love

Halo will always make me dream throught it's soundtracks, they're so...beautiful, unique, can't hear such beautifulness somewhere else

I hear a deep sadness and loneliness.

They're fighting a war on their own against overwhelming odds, wondering scared if they can really do this alone but they know they have to and do it strong even still shaken by the losses taken along the way.

It has many emotions in it but to me those two speak the loudest. Can't wait to see what happens next in the story of HW if they meet chief or what.

The theme of those that have gone through hell, have lost nearly everything, be it the loss of a family member, betrayal from a trusted loved one, forced out of their home, or the love of their life walking away forever, or any other heartwrenching tragedies or sacrifices. Despite all that, they still manage to stand again at some point, a day, a week, a month, a year or longer, they are able to rise again and start anew, knowing that the life they knew is gone forever, they will never see those times again, thus they push on with the hope that they can find a new life, and the determination that they won't fail again.

Don't let the theme fool you, the ark has had a long and sinister history, the battle for the very survival of man was fought there not once, but twice, and even still, both enemies in those bouts remain biding their time...

The halo wars series is awesome and I hope we get another one some day but the two we have so far are perfect. Definitely my favorite strategy games of all time
