Jacaerys has a point: It is obvious he is a bastard, but everyone keep shut up because they feared the Dragons. But now two bastards have two dragons what are bigger than Jacaerys's Dragon.

Why should the Lords not follow either of those bastards as king rather than Jacaerys him, who is obviusly a bastard?

It's alright Jace, Rhaenyra is fighting for the throne all because of a Prophecy that will be fulfilled by a Stark girl with the Targaryen dagger.

Daemon taught her that Targaryens can do what they want with no consequences, this is the result

Jacaerys is kind of justified. Him and his brother being called bastards all their lives. It was a mistake on the part of Rhaenyra, and Daemon is also partly responsible for putting the idea into Rhaenyra's head that marriage is simply a political arrangement, and she is free to mess around with who she likes, so is Viserys for marrying his daughter with Laenor who is not interested in women, and so was Corlys for thinking Laenor would grow out such inclinations.

He spent his entire life being called a bastard, with people making fun of him, everyone knew, but the only thing he had to prove he was legitimate was his dragon, but now with the other seeds, who are bastards, claiming a dragon, the excuse that Jace could use in the future, if he were king, went down the drain. That's why Jace's revolt.

Jace actually had the makings of a great ruler. Good diplomat, politically savvy and an actual good person.

Honestly it was refreshing to finally portray team Black as flawed for once. Especially given their relationship with the small folk in the book

Jace has every reason to feel compromised by his mother's choice. He's not blind. He knows he's a bastard and is fully aware of the social stigma carried around by that label. He no doubt knows how often noble houses discard them, treating them as afterthoughts.

That's why if Rhaenyra takes the throne and dies, his inheritance will be called into question by the realm. His only indisputable weapon and defense for his claim is the control he exerts over a dragon, which makes him a Targaryen, no matter what color his hair is.

So, when Rhaenyra begins elevating other bastards of low birth to the status of dragonriders, suddenly his claim doesn't look as solid. If he, a bastard, can claim the throne, why can't they, especially if they have stronger claims.

They really should've have think twice before giving the 2 biggest dragons to complete strangers with no ties to the Queen. Big, big mistake.

Rhaenyra just acted like an entitled brat for most of her youth, she had no sense of duty. Just expected to do whatever she wanted her whole adult life and then expected the crown to be placed on her head despite all that. I dont get why she's so worshipped.

Jacearys Velaryon is right unfortunatly. First, the parade of the head of a dragon in front of the smallfolks in Kingslanding (Meleys) and now, giving them the possibility to ride one.

The Targaryens are slowly losing their God status and reputation. And yet, this image that the people have of them used to secure them. Not anymore.

and he is right about the smallfolk and the dragons, with time you all will understand how it was a mistake of Rhaenyra

Yeah no matter how people try to justify it Laenor being gay or whatever having three very obvious bastards as a woman was not the brightest idea.

Honestly, Rhaenerya is proving to be a lackluster leader: she has no political acumen or military experience. Jacaerys, on the other hand, has proven to be politically adept, thoughtful, and rational. I think he would be a better ruler than his mother.

If anyone has a right to be angry with Rhaenrya over her affair with Harwin its Jace. Rhaenrya completely screwed him over here. His whole life he has heard people whispering behind his back about who his father really is. Not to mention that it makes Jace succeeding her uncontested all but impossible. Rhaenrya completely messed up her sons futures with that affair.

*SPOILERS*

If Jace did happen to survive the dance there is no way that he'd be allowed to be king. Jace is right, Rhaenyra is sowing the seeds of his destruction like her father did for her. They'd probably skip Jace and Joffery and go straight for Aegon and Viserys.

Nice to see Rhaenyra's stupidity finally shown some consequence. On the other hand, sadly people always see it as one way traffic that Cole was to blame for her seducing him despite his vows.
