i heard a theory that the hypostases are the left over dragons, because the unknown god can turn things into cubes, so basically the theory is that they turned the seven sovereigns into the hypostases. also, when you kill then they dragon roar.

In my case, I believe humans were brought into teyvat rather than "made" by the Primordial one. What I meant by that is, the "Primordial one" we know of and its shades might be colonist that searched for a new place to establish a brand new colony. They found teyvat and chose it, after defeating the dragons. Just like in Alien movie, they cultivated human embryos and allowed them to prosper. Their goal may had been to select the few humans who would mature and "become a god" just as the visions was meant to represent. During the early stage of cultivation, another colonist/s (the second who came) appeared in Teyvat. My guess is they're a rival civilization or just random enemies that wanted Teyvat's resources too. In any case, a fight broke out and whoever won decided to continue the cultivation of human civilization.

before sun and moon is literally the book that the primordial one is introduced or something, I'm pretty sure it isn't mentioned anywhere and it's locked behind a book that's in a world quest or something

There is a theory that human in tayvat are from project ARK (in hebrew tevah = ark) from honkai impact.
This project is to send spaceship to find new planet for human to live but the contact cut off and consider failure.
Griseo who board the ship is a painter and in the side story she travel around to return the color to the dying world by painting the life into it.
The last thing she paint on in the sky itself (If i remember correctly. as the side story are already long gone.)
Tayvat fake sky may have something to do with Griseo too.

Neuvillette’s voiceline about humans basically reaffirms this too!

These dragons probably aren't the original dragon lords but for sure have something to do with them. Also a fun fact about genshin dragons, aside from being the original inhabitants of Teyvat is that they're based on real life sea slugs.

Additional info: the dragon of water is prophesised to reincarnate as a human. Popular theory is that Kokomi is the dragon of waters' future wife./j

Edit: totally didn't change my comment after Fontaine.

Stuff like this is what keeps me motivated to play genshin

Anyone saying that Azhdaha was created by Zhongli isn't paying attention to the "Tales behind the Fan" world quest where Zhongli explicitly denies creating Azhdaha. He did give him the eyes though.

I’ve heard some people arguing about how the dragons got to Teyvat. In nahidas new quest there’s mention of a dragon king, so either he was a god that created them, or life can occur both naturally and by divine means in this universe. The dragons likely evolved over billions of years along with lots of the life they ruled over.
