To anyone that is reading this what really helped me keep up with the progress in this videos was taking pictures of my hands in the chords and drawing the chord letter/name beside the picture. I'd then put all the pictures in an album on phone and play them on slideshow to practice. Hope this helps anyone that is having trouble remembering the chords.

Hey Marty. I'm retired, 68 years old and I decided to take up the acoustic guitar. I bought one and signed up for beginner lessons at the local guitar store. 2 lessons in, and the corona virus forces us to "shelter in place" and the lessons have been canceled for a month. I found Marty Music and have been doing one beginner lesson every other day for a few weeks now and I REALLY like your approach! I'm now through lesson 8 and am starting the strumming patterns. Yay, I got through all 8 of the beginner lessons using your approach. I like how you broke down each lesson and made it easy to remember each chord fingering from earlier chord fingerings. They are much easier to remember this way and the progression made sense. Great job!!! And with 5 minutes a day and a few weeks time, my fingers aren't hurting any more. Thanks Marty!!!
