Volkswagen Golf MK7 windows calibration (remote opening closing adaptation)

Windows calibration in Volskwagen Golf MK7 is necessary if you have trouble with not working features like remote window opening and closing, automatic windows closing by rain sensor, convenience opening and closing. Sometimes after disconnecting cars battery you need to perform adaptation to activate those features. Learning stop positions is easy and does not require diagnostic interface. Follow this tutorial and calibrate windows in your Volkswagen Golf MK7.

This calibration is necessary for all VAG vehicules after a battery reset.For the older cars you need to activate the roll up windows with VCDS.The most simple procedure to calibrate all the windows is to insert the key in the drivers door, and to switch and hold the key in to the left to open all the windows and after that to switch and hold to the right to close all the windows.After this procedure all the windows are calibrated at one, and you should use your remote to roll up/down the windows.

Excellent! Thank you for this video. My driver side window was not calibrated and the auto close on my sunroof also refused to close. Once the calibration was complete on my driver side window, my sunroof now closes with no issues 😁

Passenger window was not working with "single touch / auto"
Rolled them all the way down, waited 5 seconds.
Rolled them all the way up, waited 5 seconds.
Then it worked again with the remote!
