2007 Passat (B7). My driver side windows will not close or open with one Press. I tried this but it only tapirs for going up. It will not go down completely with one press. 🤷🏽‍♂️. Does this mean the regulator is defective?

Golf mk7: Thanks so much I was so shocked to find today my driver side one touch didn't work. I found this video and it saved my ass. I hate when things stop working randomly. For anyone reading the first time I tried didn't work so I tried it again (hold button down until window opens completely and there is a click, wait 3 seconds, release. repeat by holding button up, window closes completely with a click of the motor, hold for 3 more seconds, release). THANK YOU!!

In my 2014 Golf 7, the passenger side window fell down. Despite replacing the necessary parts, excluding the motor, the window will not automatically open or close, regardless of my attempts with the switches and calibration techniques found online. This did not work for me but maybe my situation is different. As an example, lets say I put my window half way down. When I pull up on the lever to make the window go up, the window will automatically goes down. Do you have any fixes/recommendations? (2016 Jetta)

The one touch works for driver's side only and I want it to happen in all windows.

2017 Golf, drivers side and rear right windows, it worked! But I still have the itch cuz I hate it when I dont know why it happens. Why VW windows do that? Please dont answer cuz thats German cars for you. I mean I really want to know why it happens. Ive never experienced this with Korean, Japanese, or American cars. Only VW. Any answers? Thanks.
