Your photo showed up on my screen and oh my, that gorgeous blanket grabbed my attention. I had to subscribe right away. I am enjoying this video very much. I'm much closer to your Grandma's age than you but I appreciate you already from your humor to your creativity. (I like Poe, too. ) Fenway is adorable. I am also not a pink fan. Guess what color my sister had me wear in her wedding years ago? What a great challenge for the odd week between Christmas and the new year. Great idea and such a pretty blanket. It can definitely be a ribbon winner. I love that you have this talent to share with your grandmother. I have a seven year old granddaughter and hope one day she may like to learn to crochet. I need to watch more of your videos.

I always run out of my favorite colors & neutrals first. Colors like pinks/reds sit around a lil bit in my stash. I get that completely!

YES Definitely be proud!!! That blanket is gorgeous! Im going to make one using Caron Big Cake in the color rainbow jellys, im going to add a skein of purple (there's no purple in the cake) and for the single crochet rows im going to add black; to the middle, the sc rows, and the border. I cant wait to see how it comes out 😊

These kinds of blankets are SO GOOD for road trips. The larger ones feel more like they're for display and for special occasions to lay out on the bed since they're such a pain to hand wash.
