Dr. Lee, thank you for putting this video up. I am a female, 37yrs old of Indian origin, residing in Melbourne, Australia. I have had multiple episodes of optic neuritis in my both eyes over the past 10 years or so. My optho-neurologist couldn’t exactly diagnose me with any particular diagnosis. As you said, they couldn’t rule out if it was MS, NMO or some other disorder. And in order to help me with my problem and stop the chronic relapsing the doctors have prescribed me to go on Mycophenolate for the next 4-5 years which is to suppress my immune system. I am sort of unsure if that was the right thing to do since I haven’t really been diagnosed with any particular illness as such. Wondering if you could shed some light on this please?
