No environmental benefits from creation of hydrogen. Does engine create a lot of heat? If so efficiency is poor. Is the hydrogen about 40 times more expensive per equal quantity of joule of energy as electricity. Will this vehicle have numerous 9000psi tanks and very little trunk space. Do you want your kids sitting on these tanks? Average ev owner will spend almost no time filling his battery as he will just unplug every morning and drive 250 miles.s and do it again the next day. No driving to a hydrogen provider and waiting for it to fill his vehicle at 50 times the cost.
Always look at heat loss that’s where the efficiency loss is.
