It makes lobbied against electrification for a long time, because they invested a LOT of time and money into Hydrogen as a fuel. Hydrogens energy density is poor and requires energy to compress. The energy by weight is fantastic, just not by volume. Ammonia has a lot of Hydrogen and avoids a lot of downsides that straight Hydrogen has.

Ammonia is actually a really clever solution. It’s such an easy chemical to work with. As long as you can meet the required temp and compression conditions within the motor that’s a really easy shift.
